End of March!

Yikes. It is almost the end of March. And I am enjoying my housesit here in Calgary. It is so quiet and lately I have been missing the antics of my family. Monty was always good entertainment and I like following him around with the video camera. Monty and I are setting up a web site — more on that later once we get going with it.

Meanwhile, here is one of the more delightful videos I’ve seen this week.

You can tell I am not getting out of the house much these days. But March is going out like a lamb here and I will be getting out more.

It’s been a real experience here getting a better grip on my life. I feel spoiled — I am blessed with wonderful friends but kept on feeling that there was a great lack in my life.

Turns out that there wasn’t a lack at all. There is great abundance in the universe and it is all out there just for us.

Hah — as I wrote this, the sun came out and a sun beam lit up my keyboard.

Well, hello sunshine!

I haven’t posted for a couple of days because I got all caught up watching Who Do You Think You Are? It’s a great show on celebrities hunting down their genealogy. I watched a couple of seasons of the US version. There are 5 or 6 seasons of British celebrities and even a Canadian version.

What fun.

Other than that, I have a big case of  Spring Fever and feeling wonderful! I have a new Sue Grafton novel on my Kobo. A lovely vegetarian cookbook I found on the shelf here and a bunch of new recipes to try out. It’s just been one of those great weeks where things just seemed to fall into place. I even found some great people at Access PEI (Thanks Nora and Rhonda) who guided me through the process of getting my driver’s license extended until I get back to PEI.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. 3. I totally take back all those times I didn’t want to nap when I was younger. [...]
